Armory and Pierce County Courthouse, Tacoma, ca. 1930.

“Courthouse (right) located on G St. between Ninth and Eleventh streets, built in 1893. The Armory (left), home of the Washington State National Guard, was built in 1908 and located at S. Eleventh St. and S. Yakima Ave.”

The old and rather distinctive Richardsonian Romanesque courthouse was torn down with construction of the County and City building in1959.
